WHEN A DRONE LOVES A WOMAN. AT MIDNIGHT. IN PARIS
Directed by Ben Elia
During a four night shoot, a crew of ten people invaded the stairs of Montmartre with nothing but a tiny amount of lighting equipment consisting of only 350 Watts! The city lights were the main sources, meaning mainly mercury lamps that displayed a very low greenish light - a colour that nobody wants to see on an actress's face. We wanted to test the F65 and Leica lenses in the worst conditions.
Martin Kreitl (MKMEDIA PRODUCTION) raised the funds. Gerhard Baier (LEICA), Ainara Porron and Peter Sykes (SONY EUROPE) Jjoined fpormer contributors: DIGIMAGE CINEMA and HD SYSTEMS.
Produced by Ben Elia and Martin Kreitl,
Thanks to: Jacques Delacoux (TRANSVIDEO) - Marc Galerne (K5600) - Jacqueline Delaunay (ACC & LED)
Special Thanks to the french team with siberian camera operator Michel Benjamin.
Philippe Ros, Cinematographer A.F.C., explored the 4K potential with Olivier Garcia, engineer, Laurent Desbrueres, senior colourist and François Dupuy, technical manager. Together they redesigned the whole Sony F65 digital workflow.
CITIBOT belongs to the Bot-Trilogy: Launched by Philippe Ros and directed by Ben Elia, the concept was designed to dig into the 4K workflow.
