The present workshop aims at uniting those 3 worlds in order to prove how far this Creative Triangle, hardly studied, can go if closely tied, how the three altogether can widen and explore a fantastic field of possibilities in order to improve the actors’ work, as well as the technical side of the film.
COMMUNICATION BETWEEN THE THREE SIDES OF THE TRIANGLE
If the relationship between the director and the actor is well known, documented and highlighted in most drama schools, the bond between actors, film techniques and technicians is barely studied. Actors hardly ever ask which lens is being used on a camera. They seldom know the difference between a short or a long focal and how each may interact on their own performance.
